The following is a list of our most frequently asked questions:

 

"Do you charge sales tax?"

As we are a licensed, Michigan based online retail business, we are required to collect 6% sales tax from any item shipped to a Michigan address. As Michigan state law requires, this 6% sales tax is charged on the total order amount, including the shipping amount.

 

"How do you calculate your shipping charges?"

We want to ensure that all of our customers receive their orders quickly and safely, so we offer USPS shipping for most of our items. In order to make sure that you are not charged too much for shipping, our webstore utilizes the carrier's shipping calculator to determine the correct shipping cost for the shipping destination.

The rates displayed for each method in the shopping cart are based on the shipping distance, delivery speed, and total package weight (rounded up to the nearest pound or ounce), including packing material - not the actual product weight.

Due to postal shipping restrictions, Fed Ex Ground may be the only shipping option available for an item.

 

"Do you offer an Express Shipping Method?"

Yes! Expedited Orders will be shipped the same or next business day of receiving payment approval authorization. Please see our Shipping Policy page for more details.

 

"How are your items packaged and shipped?"

Customer satisfaction is very important to us, so we try to offer the best shipping costs without compromising the quick and safe delivery of the products we offer. Our items are shipped by using sturdy packaging, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts.

 

"Can you match manufacturer or competitor prices and/or promotions?"

While we strive to offer reasonable prices, we are not always able to obtain items at the same costs other people or places may be able to, at a particular time. Therefore, we are not able to match prices or promotions offered by another merchant or venue.

 

"Why do you charge a 20% disposal fee on returned items that have been opened or used?"

Since most of the items we offer are beauty and health products, once these items have been opened, used or tampered with, they are considered hazmat (exposed to bacteria, air and other contaminants) and cannot be re-sold. Therefore, we charge a nominal 20% disposal fee to re-coup the original cost of the unsellable item and to dispose of it correctly.

 

"What does 'Unboxed' mean?"

When we receive shipments from our suppliers, the outer, retail boxes of individual items may become cosmetically damaged (scuff marks, scratches, bent corners, etc.) In these cases, the interior product is still in perfect, brand new, unused, and in fresh condition, but due to the cosmetic damage of the outer package, we choose not to offer these items as boxed.

Given that these items are not offered in the original manufacturer box, we price these 'unboxed' items at a significant discount . Unboxed items are at great way to get your favorite items at discounted prices.
